Stocking the Bar

Stocking The Bar

Party of 10

For a party of 10, experienced bartenders recommend sticking with one particular drink of choice throughout the evening (i.e. Chocolate Martini). If you complement this with the availability of wine and beer, you should have enough to satisfy everyone. You should plan on a total of 20 drinks for the first two hours and fifteen drinks for each additional hour the party goes on. For a three-hour party, plan on serving up about 35 Chocolate Martinis.

cockglasses Here’s how to make a Chocolate Martini:

      • Shake vodka (1.5 oz.) and creme de cacao (0.75 oz.) in ice.
      • Pour into a martini glass and add a twist of lime.

For larger parties, first things first, say bartenders. Assuming a party will be about five hours, consume slowly. It will be quite a long get together if you spend the first two hours getting slammed and the next 3 getting sick. Remember, responsible adults drink responsibly.
